I can't thank nurse Michael enough for his compassion, caring, competency, positive outlook, dedication, patience and professionalism. Having my son in the SICU is the hardest thing I have had to do. I've seen Michael interact with my son in his most desperate moments, while intubated and uncomfortable, but responding to Michael's calm and helpful advice and encouragement. Having gone through several nurses' care, he still stands out to me among other skillful individuals with his personality.
