Michael is the perfect example of a DAISY Nurse. Anytime I work with him I know we will have a great shift and be taken care of. Michael is a leader and a role model to me and others that he works with. He works hard, he is motivated, and he is fair. Michael shows compassion and kindness to his patients. He makes sure they understand what is going on and is always there for them even if it is just to talk. Michael is a team player and goes above and beyond for his floor and the hospital. There have been several times he has stayed late to help with the oncoming shift and to make sure they were okay. Every time I see Michael, he has a smile on his face. He is welcoming and friendly and an AMAZING nurse.
