He went above and beyond to take good care of me and made sure I got the care, meds and attention I needed.
I will begin by saying that I have been to many hospitals over the years. I have met many nurses and have had very different treatment from everyone. Michael Cano has shown compassion by saying he understood when I was feeling anxiety over going into an MRI. The longer we waited to be called, the more anxiety I had. The 50th time I asked Mike if they were coming already for me, he kindly said he was going to do everything he could to get them soon. He could’ve said “You have asked me 50 times!”. He was very kind. About 15 minutes later, they were taking me to the MRI. I don’t do well with closed areas and they were not able to give me something for it. Mike encouraged me to go through it. After the MRI, he came to my room and said he was very proud of me. There were high fives and big smiles from him. Again I would say his time is so important and he chose to come check on me; he was attentive and considerate, not only then, but since I arrived. We (my husband and I) have had the pleasure of Mike as our nurse. He is the best! We wish the very best for Mike and his family. May God bless everyone that he and this hospital cares for.

Mr. Cano received me on this floor this past week. He went above and beyond to take good care of me and made sure I got the care, meds and attention I needed. Even after his shift was over, he came by and asked how I was doing; me and my family totally appreciated that. With people like him and the rest of the staff, my stay was great. Way to go Mr. Cano! Keep being you and truly caring for patients. When I needed my tests done, he called and called until we were able to get done – big plus for that!
