Michael Cooper, RN

Michael was with another patient a few days ago and it is because of this encounter that I choose to nominate him. He saw me going by and it was at that moment that he called me softly. I stopped to answer, “How is Lance doing? I am not working with him today.” I advised him that he is alright! I was so moved that this nurse with his many patients, many concerns, medication, pain, etc. So much moves through his schedule every day, but he remembers not just my son but his mother. My heart leaped; tears rushed to my eyes. Lord, he is in such great hands and thoughts that touch him even when he is not with him. Michael exemplifies integrity, respect, accountability, and competency. He goes over and above. CLONE HIM!
