One particular situation was with an Ortho patient. Michael spoke to the patient and their family with a pleasant and courteous voice, discussing medications as the patient was a little upset due to pain levels. Michael volunteered to assist with therapy to ensure the patient's concerns were addressed as well as encourage the patient throughout the therapy session. Michael is always polite, courteous toward patients and their families. Often he will go out of his way to make sure the patient and family have a pleasant stay. Although not always needed Michael consistently offers assistance during therapy sessions without hesitation. Michael is a great nurse and without a doubt does what he does for the patient's benefit.
