I went to have a procedure in the Rocky Mt Urology Center today at Valley View Hospital. Michael was my nurse. I called her yesterday to see if I could cancel my appointment. I was very nervous. She explained to me why I really should have this done so today I went in and she was so wonderful to me. She joked with me and made me laugh and forget my nervousness. During the procedure (it does hurt) she was right beside me telling me to breathe and calming me down. When it was over she walked me down the hall and answered any questions I had. I truly feel like I have found a friend as well as one of the best nurses ever.
