I am nominating Michael for this DAISY Award for numerous reasons. Not only is Michael an amazing and compassionate nurse to his patients on a daily basis, but he is also the most selfless, humble and helpful co-worker I have ever worked beside. Michael goes out of his way to help his teammates—whether it be helping with medications, helping with bed baths, messes or even taking the extra patient when it's not his turn if his co-worker is having a rough night. Never once have I heard him complain or talk negatively. He is someone who can be counted on no matter what and truly cares not only for his patients but also for his team.
