As a new leader, Mick stands out as an employee that demonstrates reverence and compassion with the patients he serves. He has been known to step back and ask "what can I do?" questions, which displays integrity and excellence. Mick helped with developing the orientation checklist for the Resource pool and participates in the UPC meetings. He asks "how can we do this better?" questions. He takes initiative to develop helpful tools and resources for his peers. In the past he created the Kardex prior to facet to face reporting. He is one of our valued preceptors for new nurses. Mick strives to create a positive environment for patients, coworkers, and himself which utilizes CHI Health's Mission and Core Values. Mick leads by example.
