My father was in respiratory distress and Michael was there to give the lifesaving care he needed. I feel he played a key role in saving his life. When he stepped in, he took control of the situation and got my dad to ICU where there was staff who provided my dad with the care needed to save his life. Michael was bymy dad's side and provided compressions until an airway was stabilized. The quick and accurate skills and actions saved my dad's life and I cannot thank him enough. We were blessed to have him as a nurse days after my dad stopped breathing when my dad could finally speak to him. I want him to be recognized as the hero he is to our family now. My dad is a veteran who fought for our country and he is a hero to me. I now have found another hero who should be thanked and recognized.
