While being transferred from the ER to the 4th floor, V was having difficulty breathing. By the time we reached the bed Michael Katzman noticed how she wasn't getting any air. I was holding V screaming "She's not breathing!". In seconds he had already made a call, had an ambu-bag on her trach, and the room was filled with doctors and nurses. He was calm, collected, and compassionate. Mike saved my little girl's life. I am forever grateful. Thank you Michael Katzman!
