Mike was able to add gentle humor to our life every day. This would include months of treatment with months of despair. He was consistently kind, patient and caring. He relayed the discussions from team meetings clearly and helped with any and all questions. His welcoming friendly smile was always a comforting time on the unit. On this unit we don't have tubes and IVs most of the time but we are in need of kindness and compassion. It is nearly impossible to gain the power not to want to die, but nurses are truly the lifesavers in this field. Michael Kenny is my lifesaver.
