Michael Lawrence, RN

My husband was a patient in the ICU at South Florida Baptist Hospital. He unfortunately passed away, but during his admission, he had a nurse who really stood out to us. Michael was our nurse one day and was so caring and attentive. He made sure to advocate for my husband and my family. He made sure to get every test and scan promptly ordered and completed. He was so compassionate, yet was very honest about what we needed to expect. He was extremely attentive and never left my husband’s side, his entire shift. We practically had to beg him to go on his break. I am a nurse and know how exhausting a shift can be. He is one of the best nurses I have ever witnessed caring for a patient. His care and compassion for both my husband and our family made our time in the hospital a little bit less scary and lonely, and he deserves to be recognized and appreciated for all that he does.
