On behalf of 5 East Day shift, "A great person attracts great people and knows how to hold them together." Despite having to take on many units, Michael Mills does his work well and efficiently! When he is called on for any issues or concerns, he doesn't just answer our calls in a timely manner, but he will also show his face minutes later to ensure that whatever our concerns are, it is being handled and taken seriously. He provides comfort to the staff with his presence. Not only is he amazing, but he does it with a smile and has a smooth like coolness to him. If he is overwhelmed or stressed by the workload given to him, he takes on all tasks without showing any strain. He is reliable, and he makes our day much easier, and he brings a sense of calmness and ease in our day. No matter how challenging our patient assignment is or how heavy the census is on the floor, he consistently shows up for everyone and is known to bring good energy. We all enjoy having him. We would LOVE to have him as our very own ANM. We want him to know that he is seen and appreciated very much by us. He is not only an extraordinary nurse, but he is also an outstanding leader who knows his role and goes above and beyond for his staff. He is a joy to work with.
