Hospitals can be scary, intimidating, and isolating, but Michael made our experience one of comfort, friendliness, and calm.
All of the nurses who cared for my wife were great! However, Michael, was the most outstanding. As the husband of the patient, I was impressed by how he treated my wife with dignity, compassion, warmth, tenderness, care, and concern. He took an interest in her personal concerns and calmly and professionally answered her personal questions and concerns to the degree of his personal knowledge and nursing experience.
Although he was very busy, he stepped in quite often to see how she was doing. He was personable and friendly, not only to my wife but also to our family and friends. All of us looked forward to seeing him each day. We missed him when he was assigned to another station on floor 7. Everyone who met him established an immediate positive response to his personality and the personal interest he took in each other’s life. He performed his duties professionally and efficiently. He also made certain to see if we needed anything at any time during his shift. A friend of ours had him as her nurse and was happy to know he was our nurse. She, too, had nothing but praise for Michael. He is definitely an A+ nurse.
Hospitals can be scary, intimidating, and isolating, but Michael made our experience one of comfort, friendliness, and calm. What a blessing it was to have a great staff of nurses, but he definitely will never be forgotten. Thank you, Michael. You are the best!
