Michael took the time to listen to me and the concerns I had about my son and his treatment. When he came to the room he was always made sure we knew what medications he was giving my son and why. My son has downs syndrome and is an adult, but cannot care for himself. He quickly made a connection with Michael. My son called him "Mickey" and would always ask for him. Michael made our stay much nicer. At the end of his shift on our last day he came to say goodbye to my son, but he was sleeping. Michael left him a short letter. That one gesture made my son's day!

My father has "Sundown Syndrome" and the 2nd night he was in the hospital he was delirious, crazy and wanted to fight everyone. Michael stayed calm and stayed with him for a long time trying to get him stable. Michael kept us informed through the entire night and even sat in my dad's room to do his work. The next night they had to restrain my dad, and Michael assured us that my dad would be safe. Michael was very professional with a caring touch.
