When I was diagnosed with breast cancer I was scared of the treatments, the needles, the entire journey that I was going to start. Mike made every aspect of receiving the chemo to getting shots needed anxiety-free for me. He came in early to prep my medi port so I could have testing done as he knew how afraid of needles I was. He was a calming strength through a horrible time in my life. He always asked how I was feeling and if there was an issue he would get the immediate answers that we needed. My family and I are forever grateful to Mike and we thank him from the bottom of our hearts for sitting there and explaining to us everything that was happening. He is a wonderful nurse who says his patients are his heroes. To me and my family, he is our hero. Thank you, Mike!
