On any given occasion, Mike clearly demonstrates that he is a "true patient advocate" and an asset in all needs of any patient on the unit. He will assist in the care of not only his patients but also helps each nurse with their patients. We had a patient that needed a sensitive caregiver who can provide expert care, so the assignment was switched to Mike. He started taking care of the patient minutes15-20 minutes before it was time to clock in as well. He leads by example and continues to care for the patients.
