My partner's mother had an unfortunate complication from a procedure. It was a very touchy situation. I am an RN myself at another larger area hospital, and have spent many an hour in the ER stitching, cleaning, caring and consoling patients and families. I completely know the nature of the beast. Immediately Michael took us under his wing with prompt compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern. Michael was the one that really took care of us and expedited the immediate tasks (lines, vitals, CT scan, meds, and taking care of us) and was the one to follow through with us right until she was wheeled up for emergency surgery. Coming from a fellow RN and somebody that has been around the block in this field, and has seen it all, I would really like to commend Michael on his performance that shift. He is a true asset to your health system and hospital. His care was incredibly over and above the call of duty. He even walked us to the special ICU waiting room while she was in surgery. You have an incredible blessing in Michael Rado.
