I work in an E.C. in Massachusetts and came to your hospital when my brother was diagnosed with brain/lung cancer. Michael was unerringly compassionate and kind not only to my brother but also his wife, and me. He took the time to explain what we could expect, what procedures we could expect, and what doctors we could expect to see. His kindness was so touching. He was the sincerest and nicest of all the nurses who treated my brother. He was consistently respectful and professional. Even when he wasn't assigned to my brother he took the time to check in with all of us, something he didn't have to do. He answered our concerns, gave us a reason to be upbeat, and was always positive. Michael Rodriguez willingly went above and beyond the call of duty. We will never forget his compassion.
