He was very attentive, polite, patient and knowledgeable. He never seemed too busy to help my husband. Michael is very kind and calm. He was timely with medications and meeting needs. He was very responsive when answering questions that we had regarding my husband's care and treatment.

It is not every day that something very special happens to you. Today my nurse at MHTW named Michael and his wonderful crew of associates threw an impromptu 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration for my wife and me. It touched us both deeply as did the many small acts of kindness exhibited to us since we've been here. We would like to express our gratitude to the 5th floor crew and especially to Michael for all the kindness extended to us.
Even though Michael is a new nurse, he was very thorough and seemed very knowledgeable. He was caring and respectful towards me and my family. His attentive nature made my hospital stay a smooth experience.

Michael is a genuine, thoughtful caring nurse. He always goes beyond the call. Today, I saw how he practices Memorial Hermann's values and displays them in his actions. He became aware of a patient's 50th Anniversary. He decorated the room, followed up with the dietician for 2 cakes and got the team together to sing Happy Anniversary. Both the patient and wife were in tears from this small kind act. Michael displays all the traits of a true DAISY Nurse. I remember a quote by William Shakespeare that sums Michael up "Virtue and genuine graces in themselves speak what no words can utter". To me, this means actions do speak louder than words and Michael is that good nurse.
