Mike cared for a patient's daughter like she was his own child, showing genuine care and love. He took the time and effort to make sure her needs were met and at the highest quality.
He went above and beyond explaining how and why things are done with preemies. He was never rushed to get the job done; he went through things step-by-step with the parents to make sure they understood. He had the parents be hands on in all his teaching and was always asking if there were any questions.
Mike's time, effort, and determination truly shows how much he cares about his patients, their families, and his co-workers. He didn't make anything look like a job, but rather more of a second nature for him. He was graceful when doing anything, he was hands-on, spoke softly when explaining things, and always put the patient and family first.
The parents of the patient learned so much from Mike. His passion for the job truly shines, as it comes through in his amount of time and care for the patient. The patient thrived because of Mike's care.
