Michael's incredible leadership and unwavering support for our nursing team have been truly inspiring. Thanks to his dedication, we celebrated our fourth Magnet designation. Michael was instrumental in this achievement, attending every shared governance meeting and connecting with nurses by visiting the floors during Nurses Week, handing out candy and prizes, and having heartfelt conversations at the bedside.​

Michael consistently goes above and beyond. When we faced technical issues during our shared governance meetings, he could have easily given us any old conference room. Instead, he arranged for us to meet in the executive boardroom. This thoughtful decision not only solved our problems but also doubled our in-person attendance, making us feel valued and important. The comfortable setting allowed us to discuss ways to improve our hospital and our individual units. Michael always finds time to listen and support us at these meetings, ensuring our voices are heard and respected. Thanks to his efforts, we feel empowered and appreciated.
