He is an amazing nurse! He goes above and beyond for his patients in any and all scenarios. He helps his patients through difficult times and is compassionate while doing it. I have seen him help a patient to shower regardless of their condition. He even did his "spa day" on a patient who had a trach vent and was bed-bound. He used real water and soap and made it feel like a real bath. The patient was so grateful for this as she hadn't used real water in the months she had spent between two different ICUs and her time at the LTACH. Mike is who I would trust and love to have as my nurse if I was in the ICU!

He makes sure his patients are clean. He changes all linens, changes all their accessories (BP Cuff, Tele Stickers, etc.), and bathes his patients with real warm water if they are bed bound. If not, he always gets them up to the shower. His patients are always so appreciative and in a good mood. They feel much more human! He is a great leader and teacher! He is always nice and understanding. He helps to continually teach anyone and is very knowledgeable.
