There was a significant other of a dying patient on our unit, that was riding his bike every day to see her. His bike was stolen from the front of the hospital one day while he was visiting. Michael had the patient and felt bad for the visitor. He brought a bike he had in storage and gave it to the SO a few days later. The guy got a ride to the hospital that day and was about to walk a few miles home. Michael went out of his way to be so thoughtful to a stranger that I think he is a true DAISY Nurse.
