Michaela's nomination story from an Emergency Room patient's mom at Petaluma Valley Hospital:

"My son was admitted to Petaluma Valley ER after suffering a seizure and was blessed to be cared for by Michaela overnight. Michaela showed compassion and understanding as my son completely earned the name "Mr. Feisty."

She welcomed me and provided me with a comfortable seat. Even though she was obviously very busy, she refilled my water bottle. Being retired from the NICU, I know what a confident, skilled nurse looks like!
