Michaela Hansen is an amazing nurse and always goes above and beyond to provide quality care for patients and their families. Several months ago, she was caring for a critical patient who was admitted to ICU. We later coded the patient and were able to get her back. In getting to know the patient and her son, Michaela learned that he was jokingly frustrated we did not have Pepsi in our vending machine. So, before her next shift, Michaela went to the store and bought a case of Pepsi and brought it to her son in ICU.
