Michaela is everything we could ask of a pediatric nurse and more. She was diligent and attentive during our visit at Banner Health in Casa Grande. When I shared with her my concerns regarding my baby’s odd twitching during his sleep, Michaela immediately suggested the issue could be low blood sugar. And indeed, it was. Michaela’s quick thinking made the difference between a timely discharge from the hospital and potentially and ER visit for hypoglycemia. Even my father and brother both live with type 1 diabetes, I know firsthand how concerning a low blood sugar reading can be. As such in the most frank and appreciative way, we thank Michaela for her skill and passion for this practice.
