I brought my husband into the ED. He was Covid positive, dry heaving, and dehydrated. Michele took care of him with such care and compassion. She wrote down the times for his medications. She explained how to prevent his gag reflex from kicking in once we got home (NPO for 4 to 5 hours then a couple of ice chips). She made sure he was comfortable - more blankets, the beeping of the monitor, taking him to the bathroom. These may seem like small, insignificant things but they meant so much, all without a second thought on her part. She was our knight in shining armor that day. I was so stressed. She calmed us both down. And I can't stress enough that she put her health and life on the line because, as I said, they knew my husband had Covid. Thank you and love to Michele!
