I am a first-time mom who gave birth. Michelle Govaer went way above and beyond every day while we were here. She was very committed to nursing, and Michelle spent multiple hours with mom and the baby to give them the best chance at long-term success. Thanks to her, we felt confident when we were discharged and had great success at home. Unfortunately, we were readmitted two days later for high blood pressure. What set Michelle apart from the other amazing nurses and staff we had the pleasure of being treated by was that she stayed with the baby, and I had to go to his two-day check-up. Michelle stuck around for two hours after she clocked out to help with breastfeeding the baby while being extremely medicated. She is an absolute godsend to this hospital.
