Michele Hatten RN stood out to me. She was very personable with my husband and made him feel safe. She also helped me in a way I didn't realize I needed. As I was beginning to become "unglued" when his heart started acting up again, she reminded me that my job is to be his wife, to love on him and make good memories as he is on hospice. The nurses know their jobs quite well. I can focus on being his wife. She sent us home with a whole new attitude. We are making those beautiful and fun memories for all of the family to cherish. Caring for my husband during this stage of life is a gift. Michele helped me remember that. She is a gift to all whose lives are in her hands. She is skillful, compassionate, and wise. I thank God for nurses like Michele Hatten.
