I am writing to wholeheartedly nominate Michele for the prestigious DAISY Award in recognition of her extraordinary commitment and compassion in nursing. During a challenging time in my life, Michele went above and beyond to provide not just medical care, but genuine comfort and support when I needed it the most.

From the moment I arrived at the hospital, on the Tele 4 unit, Michele made me feel at ease with her warm demeanor and clear explanation of my treatment/plan of care. Her attention to detail in monitoring my care was phenomenal and outstanding.

What truly stood out was Michele’s empathy and kindness. She not only attended to my physical needs but also provided emotional support during my darkest moments. Michele was like a mother to me. She gave me great advice, I was able to express my feelings with no judgment, and she made me laugh all the time. Her ability to communicate and advocate for patients is commendable.

Michele is a shining example of the qualities we admire in a nurse-compassionate, competent, dedicated, and empathetic. Her unwavering commitment to her patients is an inspiration to all. She left an indelible mark on my life, that I will truly remember during this hospital stay.
