Michele was my night nurse during the time I was a patient on 2600. All the nurses and staff who took care of me were wonderful, but Michele stands out because of the way she took care of me.
She was very professional, friendly, compassionate, and thoughtful. During some of my darkest times in the hospital, she helped to ease my fears and calm me. She allowed me to sleep when that's what I really needed. She was my advocate. Michele excelled at being honest with me and let me know my experiences were "normal" although I was frightened. She was an attentive listener and shared some of her personal and family experiences with me. Again, everyone did a great job of caring for me; but Michele is special to me as a nurse and caregiver.
