I had HELLP syndrome, stroke, and an emergency C-section. I have no memories of the birth of my child. My husband was not permitted into the operation room due to the serious circumstances. This thoughtful nurse and mother went above and beyond and took pictures with my cell phone, capturing this special moment for me and my family when we could not. I was unable to see my baby for 3 more days while recovering from my stroke, but these pictures kept me strong and brought me joy during the most emotionally and physically challenging time of my life.
