This nurse is one whom we should all seek to emulate. She is positive, energetic, and happy, and she spreads this enthusiastic zest for life to all who are around her. She has cross-trained and worked in several new units this year. She is the first one to volunteer to support her team and others. She is recognized by family members in multiple thank you notes after they go home. Her laughter is infectious, and we all know what they say: laughter is the best medicine. The families talk about how she brings them comfort and eases their anxiety. She is also known for her singing, so here I am singing her praises and thanking her for all she does for FSH, the FSH teams, and our patients.

When our Outpatient Pre-op Department experienced staffing challenges, this nurse was quick to volunteer to help them out. She quickly became an integral member of the team, fulfilling her clinical duties while also spearheading team-building events and activities. This nurse is a phenomenal team player, picking up extra shifts to help other departments or splitting her shifts between multiple departments. She is the type of person whose positive energy can be felt when she walks into a room. Patients remember her by name, often mentioning her in post-op calls or in their thank you cards. She supports our hospital's mission by always putting her patients first and supporting her teammates in all departments. She is a friend to all and a top-notch clinician. We are truly fortunate to have her on our team.
