An ice storm was predicted for the area and Michelle was very concerned that we leave the hospital and get home safely. She got doctor to sign release papers. Put all the discharge papers together. She got on the phone and called Home Health Care and made sure a nurse would be at our house Sunday evening with supplies and instructions. She made calls to have night feeding equipment delivered for use that night. She gave me a mini lesson on how to use feeding tube, ordered a wheelchair for the patient, gave us a bottle of Jevity in case I might need it (and I did!) and had us on our way by 4 p.m.
Michelle stayed with us through all these trials and tribulations and we are so grateful for everything she did for us. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She has great compassion and concern for her patients. This is a wonderful virtue. We have nothing but the highest praise for Michelle. She is a wonderful nurse!
