Michelle paid close attention to my mom. She went over and above to make sure my mom was getting the best care possible. My mom broke her spine in 2 places (T2/T4), 5 ribs on her right side, 1 rib on her left side, as well as a hematoma on the back of her head. My mom does not like to take pain meds and will not say when she is in pain. Michelle carefully evaluated my mom's pain level by the stiffness in her body when she was in pain and other signs. She also advocated for my mom to have a stretcher transport versus the wheelchair when transporting my mom to care partners rehab hospital. My mom wasn't able to sit up straight but was willing to go in the wheelchair to not cause any issues or delays. Michelle recognized that this would be problematic and advocated for her. She is outstanding with patient care. Making sure her bladder issue was being addressed and also being a liaison between the patient and the doctors to ensure that she has the medications that she needs. I just can't say enough about her work ethic and most importantly her kindness. She fully deserves to be recognized.
