I'm thankful that she took some time in her already busy schedule to listen to my concerns and provide solutions on how I can better solve my situation. She was not dismissive of my inquiry and instead was genuinely empathetic.

Background Story: There appeared to have been some miscommunication regarding my bowel prep for an upcoming colonoscopy between my insurance, my pharmacy, and me. I was told that I needed a pre-authorization for SuPrep as prescribed. It wasn't getting approved. I also called my insurance company, and they said I needed to get a pre-authorization. NuLytely was filled instead by my pharmacy initially, but I was concerned about being able to drink that much fluid in a short period of time. I was feeling ill prepared for a colonoscopy and was very close to cancelling and rescheduling my 8 am appointment on Tuesday.

On Monday, Nurse Michelle called to update me. Due to underlying conditions, Nurse Michelle also discussed preemptive measures and ongoing self-care, as well as step-by-step guidance on how to proceed with the entire preparation for my appointment this Tuesday.
