Michelle Adamyk, RN, remembers when she decided to become a nurse, and it was one of those moments that could just as easily have driven Adamyk from nursing as into it. Her father was in the hospital, suffering from cancer. One day he switched on the call light to get more medication to help soothe his excruciating pain. The nurse who responded, "yelled at him and told him he would have to wait, that she was busy," Adamyk recalls. "She made my father cry - and from that day on I made a promise to myself that I would go to nursing school and try and make a difference in people's lives."
Michelle is an amazing nurse. She proves it every day. She can always find the right works for an anxious patient. Michelle is a great charge nurse and advocate for both her patients and her co-workers.
