Michelle is an earth angel. Michelle is an example of unconditional selfless compassion. She made a promise to me, to be there with me from even before my surgery, through it, and even after I woke up. Though it was late in the evening and her shift was about to end, Michelle stayed past her time to go home and waited until I had surgery and went into recovery. She was the first person I saw when I woke up. I have had many surgeries, but this was the very first time I felt safe going into surgery (at least a little safer knowing she would be there when I woke back up). And the best part of it was, she really was there!
