Michelle Barclay, LPN

Michelle is a student nurse that has shown compassion and advocacy with her patients. I have been told by several instructors that Michelle goes the extra mile for her patients, ensuring that they are well attended to, and she advocates for their needs when they can't do so for themselves. During her clinical rotation, Michelle took an interest in the wound team. Every week she would round with the team to seek out a new experience. Michelle stated that she loved wound care because it gave her a chance to see the healing process among her patients. Michelle's compassion is demonstrated in the care that she gives to her patients, the time she spends just talking to them, and her desire to be a great nurse.
