A child in need of surgery faced repeated delays due to complex legal and consent issues. The child's family member was overwhelmed by the challenges of navigating the system. The surgery had been rescheduled three times when Michelle stepped in, going above and beyond. She spent countless hours coordinating with DSS, speaking to the family member, and securing the proper documentation to ensure the child could finally receive the care they needed. Throughout the process, Michelle remained a steady source of support and kept in close contact with the family member.
