Michelle Carignan, RN

Michelle Carignan is a dedicated nurse who goes beyond surface-level care to meet the needs of our community. She understands the unique challenges we face and how these challenges impact the health and well-being of our patients. Her holistic approach is a tremendous blessing for those she serves. With every interaction, Michelle strives to understand her patients' needs and provide them with essential support. She treats everyone with respect and maintains a nonjudgmental attitude.

For example, Michelle has arranged rides for patients, provided funding for taxi services, purchased hairbrushes, shampoo, and conditioner for patients in need, and organized food and medication assistance, among other acts of kindness. She recognizes that there is often more to a patient's story. Despite working in a busy department, she prioritizes getting patients the help they need, no matter how long it takes. She serves as a role model for her peers and is frequently sought out for guidance. Michelle is an outstanding nurse and a valuable member of Rumford Hospital and the community.
