For the past several months, my husband has required many visits to Lake Region Healthcare Interventional Radiology Department for comfort control of his disease. Michelle has provided excellent care. She always made sure my husband was educated and included in what was going to happen and what the plan of care was. If my husband was getting uncomfortable between scheduled procedures, she always listened and rescheduled the procedure as soon as possible. She has an amazing rapport with other IR staff. They work as a caring, efficient team. Michelle made my husband’s procedure something he looked forward to. She made a positive difference in his coping with everything that was going on with him. He was able to have a permanent port placed in IR from home treatment. On his final discharge from IR, he cried because Michelle was so incredible.
