Nurse Michelle was very kind to me along with helping me with my meds by bringing them on time along with having good knowledge what she is doing for you when she is helping you. Thank you, Nurse Michelle.

Even though we've only known each other for a short period of time Michelle, I clearly see as well as understand that you're a blessing. You actually make everything alright with how you greet people and listen to whatever they may have to say. To me you're more than a nurse, you're a little sister as well and someone I enjoy being around. Michelle, you're one of a kind and rare to find, not just in hospitals, but in life. I want to thank you on the behalf of everybody that comes through this hospital and meets you. See, its people like you who make this world a better place. May God bless you and continue to keep you safe.

Many patients like me have had the privilege of enjoying Michelle's professionalism, her intelligence and her glowing desire to be helpful. She truly cares and enjoys applying her skills. My status upon arrival was very stressed with serious conditions. Michelle let me know she was aware of my concerns and greatly helped me in calming my worries. Her self-confidence encouraged me to think of more positive results and I am doing much better because of her help. Michelle is truly a very special person and nurse, the exceptional one that patients hope for.

I met Michelle after I had lost 5 pints of blood. I was confused and she helped me work through and understand my disease. Her professionalism demonstrates the work she has put into her skills and interaction with patients, staff, and doctors alike. Her smile would brighten anyone's day. Her clinical skills, from blood draw to straight Cath and blood replacement procedures. The more I think back to that first time I recall many times she helped others as well as me. Michelle has made a significant difference in my outlook to survive.

Nurse Michelle had a very warm and pleasant smile as she informed me that she would be my nurse and that I shouldn't procrastinate in requesting assistance, as my medical condition may dictate. Her level of compassion, mannerism, and professionalism is exemplified; the kind of characteristics that the medical field should appreciate. Whether at the beginning or the conclusion of her work day, Nurse Michelle approaches my needs with a smile. Her level of professional and compassionate care has a very positive effect on patients and should be highly rewarded.

Nurse Michelle has been very good and taking care of my medical needs. I want to thank her for her good service to the community.

I was truly amazed by the compassion, kindness and positive attitude of my Nurse Michelle. She really went above and beyond to help comfort me after I was diagnosed with colon cancer. She clearly explained what was ahead as far as my treatment plan, surgery, etc. She also took the time to speak with my mom and reassure her that her son was doing well. She told my mom about the visiting schedule and even helped her get a room to stay in while she was in Richmond, free of charge! To me this is Amazing! She is truly an extraordinary nurse in every sense of the word and deserves this award for her excellent care of her patients and their families.
