This did not happen in the hospital; however, I feel it needs to be highlighted for her quick action to save a life. Michelle was at a sports event for her children when she saw that the coach went unresponsive, gray, and fell to the ground. Michelle, with no hesitation, jumped right in and started CPR and led BLS efforts while waiting for help; ROSC was obtained and followed up, and he was well. Michelle was at the right place and at the right time, and if it were not for her life-saving efforts, he may not be alive today. She is truly a lifesaver and demonstrates what it is to be a nurse.
