Michelle has always been a huge asset to this hospital from her days as a floor nurse on C3, a clinical lead, and now as a clinical educator. Michelle is always there to help and goes above and beyond her job description. She is one of the most knowledgeable, kind, and calm souls. Michelle even as an educator, has taken patients when we were understaffed and is always working on our discharges before even knowing the order was placed, She answers phones, call lights, and even does med passes for us when we are busy. Michelle is constantly there to help and do anything with us that we need help with. Michelle has also been fabulous with our new grads, really helping them understand what it is like to be a nurse on the floor. They all look up to her and know she is giving them so much knowledge. Not only do we see Michelle every day that she is on site, but she is also always coming by and checking in. She has told us all to page her anytime even when we know she has left for the day. She brings brightness to all of our days and as such, she is a DAISY Nurse through and through.
