This particular patient had just finished receiving her treatment and developed stridor and SOB prior to being discharged. The patient was very scared and Michelle was immediately by her side to support her medically and emotionally. Michelle called a medical emergency and immediately initiated the hypersensitivity protocol. During this time she continued to talk with the patient to help console her and let her know that she was going to be ok. I had reached out to the patient during a follow-up phone call and she had nothing but praise for the entire team that saved her, but especially for Michelle for being right by her side.
