I went in for an emergency C-section at about shift change. Michelle took over as my nurse in the recovery portion. During that time, my baby, H, was struggling to breathe in the NICU. Michelle immediately rushed me to the NICU so I could be with H in the last moments of her short life. Michelle took my husband's phone and captured the only moments we had with our girl on the camera. She did not have to do that, but she did for me and for my husband. I am so thankful that I have those photos to look back on and remember my baby before she gained her angel wings. Michelle was sent by our God on the worst day of my life. She hugged and confronted me. Gave me all the time with my girl and she was strong for me when I couldn’t be. She is an excellent nurse and was the most professional, especially when dealing with the worst possible outcome of L&D.
