Michelle was my nurse during recovery from a physically and emotionally painful surgery. From the moment I awoke, groggy and upset, she took care of me tirelessly. She answered the dozens of questions I had and comforted me through my emotions.
She was a ray of sunshine in my darkness. She reminded me of my own mom. She was gentle and loving. She supported me, educated me, and made sure all my needs were met. Being a nurse and giving care just radiated from within. Her heart was present in everything she did.
I kept telling her how beautiful she was, and it was not the anesthesia speaking. She truly was beautiful inside and out. When she carefully wheeled me to my car and gave me a hug, I didn't want to let go.
I just felt a connection to her and I wanted to soak up her love and knowledge. She is the perfect example of a phenomenal nurse and I am so blessed to have been her patient. Hold on to this beautiful soul. Michelle deserves to be cherished.
