Michele saw a patient whose daughter came in as patient and told the provider how Michele had saved her mom's life. The patient came in and Michele needed to check her urine. Michele examined the specimen and determined it looked brown and suggested she may have a bile blockage. She advised the patient to go to the ER that day. The patient went to the ER and was found to have a pancreatic duct blockage and cancer. She underwent a Whipple procedure which was successful and has now been cancer free for almost three years. The family is truly thankful to Michele.
